This book is essential reading for every Christian with a vision for a church united in faithfulness to the Word, and openness to the work of the Holy Spirit. This book is written with unique expositions and intended for an international readership.
The prevalent times and seasons call for us to take a closer look at God’s infallible Word in relation to our lives. We know that God is faithful and that He will not turn back on His promises. We can rest assured that God will not lie and that His precious promises are ever true.
However tough the times we are facing today, we can prevail over every circumstance because we are founded upon Christ, the solid Rock.
The hard times of life bring us into a closer dependence and understanding of God’s promises concerning our situations.
We can say like the Apostle Paul, “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day” (2 Tim. 1:12).
Hard times don’t erase God’s promises, for He has saved us, called us, and separated us unto His purposes.
It is His utmost purpose to do us good; God is for you, not against you. This fact alone has enough winning power to hold you until your miracles manifest.
“And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul” (Jer. 32:40-41).
God is a covenant-keeping God, and He has called us into covenant relationship with Him in our born again experience. We now share of the inheritance of the saints in the light; we have access to all His covenant promises.
The Holy Spirit continuously reveals to us the benefits and the privileges of these covenant promises. 2 Peter 1:3-4 says:
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
We come into the release of these promises as we apply the knowledge of God’s Word to every area of our circumstances. Hard times will not erase God’s promises. Attach your life to God’s promise, and circumstances will take a turn for the better. God is not through blessing you; the best is still to come.
Hard Times Don’t Erase God’s Promises is a powerful, thought-provoking book. It can take you from the bottom of the valley to the mountain top. It is for everyone going through the pressures and stresses of life. Every person needs this book.
